Today, Even though Chinese people who live in Cambodia became Cambodian people, but they are still Chinese and follow their culture very strictly. Chinese people who live in Cambodia today are not originally come from china, because those who originally came were already died. Those who are still alive today are the 1^st generation or the 2^nd generation or even 3^rd generation of their ancestors.  In Cambodia there are 5 type of Chinese people such as Hainam, Tiechiev, Katang, Chinkhe, and Chinese Hokien. There are more numerous of Tievchiev in Cambodia. According to the history of Chinese, Chinese New Year were celebrated since 4000 years ago.
